Code Ocean DOIs consist of the prefix   10.24433/CO.  and the capsule ID on Code Ocean, e.g. https://doi.org/10.24433/CO.0a812d9b-0ff3-4eb7-825f-76d3cd049a43. A published capsule's DOI is available in its metadata page, under the Basic Info section. This field will be auto-populated upon publication. 

In advance of publication, your can deduce your future DOI by combining 10.24433/CO.  and the portion of your capsule's URL word the word "capsule."

A DOI will link to code only after publication.

DOIs are assigned at the capsule level rather than at the level of individual files.

Updating your compute capsule will yield a new DOI -- typically your previous DOI with a .v2 , .v3 , etc.  appended.
